You understand that flights are occasionally rescheduled or delayed for various reasons, and it is your responsibility to check for such itinerary changes ahead of travelling. The company will not be held liable for such changes. Any additional costs including, but not limited to accommodation charges or alternate travel arrangements, will be for your account.

In the event that you have made payment for a booking, and the supplier no longer has your selected service (room/date/seat/flight) available, the company undertakes to find you a suitable alternative, or refund you in full.

A complaint might arise if the customer is unhappy with the following:

  • Service levels from both Absa and TDTT, or one of the service providers not meeting the customer’s requirements
  • Our cancellation policy and agreement that cannot be reached
  • Our standard terms and conditions and agreement that cannot be reached.

If a complaint arises, the following is the procedure for handling the complaint:

The cancellation policy is related to the service and product selected; these are clearly shown on all product pages and at the time of booking. On receipt of a written instruction from you to cancel a reservation, the company will refund you, based on the terms and conditions at the time of booking, if you are still in the cancellation period.

The company may accept instruction relating to a booking from any party with access to the email account or cellphone number used for the booking, or with substantive knowledge of the booking (such as the reference number).

Our website uses a live system, and thus rates change, based on selected travel dates. If a property does not have live rates, quotations offered directly to a user through the website constitute legal offers. Quotations are always subject to the availability with the supplier.

User responsibility

You understand and accept the responsibilities of using a self-service booking website, such as that operated by the company.

These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Choosing the correct supplier with your required characteristics
  • Checking that accurate details have been supplied and captured in the booking
  • Ensuring that all the proper travel documents and permissions have been obtained before completing your booking
  • Understanding what vaccinations or medication may be recommended for those travelling to your destination
  • Ensuring the eligibility of travellers, including age, health, financial status, etc.
  • Considering any other factors that might influence your ability to take up or enjoy your booking

For example, you are responsible for ensuring that the travellers have the following documents on hand:

  •   Valid identification
  •   Valid passport(s)
  •   Valid visa(s)
  •   Valid birth certificate(s)
  •   Any other documents that may be required during travelling.

The company also recommends that you seek insurance products to protect you adequately from the risks associated with your booking. There are various risks associated with travel, and you understand that none of these are covered by the company. For instance, you should ensure that you are adequately protected against loss due to illness, cancellation, injury, damage to your baggage, theft or any other occurrence.

Any reservation that you make using the company’s services, is booked for you with a third-party supplier. You acknowledge that the company acts as an agent of the supplier, who undertakes to render the agreed travel service to you. Any right of recourse that you may have regarding the supplied travel service, will be directly with the supplier, although the company is always willing to assist wherever possible, making sure that the customer is completely satisfied with the outcome.

  • Is breakfast included in the price?

Each room or accommodation that you can book has its own breakfast policy. If breakfast is included, it will be stated on the property page when you compare different options to book. If breakfast isn’t included, you can see if the property provides it by checking the available facilities. When have booked, this information will also be in your confirmation email, and you can see it when you view your bookings in your account.

  • What does the price include?

All the facilities listed under the room or accommodation type, are included in the price. You can also see whether like breakfast, taxes, service charges, etc. are included when you compare different options to book.   • Are prices per room or per person?

All prices shown on our website, are per room, unless a single person is added in the booking widget.

  • Are taxes included in the price?

Yes, all taxes are included

  • Do I pay a reservation fee?

No, no reservation fee is payable.
